National Award Winning Film Director and
Teacher of Talented Young Actors
Martin Beck is the son of a German immigrant and a Pennsylvania Dutchwoman.
He made his first professional stage performance as a magician when he was
12 years old. He performed as a professional musician when he was 19 and made his professional debut as an actor when he was 20. In 1970, Martin produced and directed his first award winning TV Commercial and in 1973,
at the age of 28, he directed his first full length motion picture.
