~~The Best of our Former Students~~
Margaret was the reason I started teaching Acting Classes here in Texarkana.
For that reason she will always hold a position of Honor at our Actor's Studio.
Margaret started with me when she was 12 years old, the youngest student I had taught, at that time. She was very shy but she had a great natural ability and was one of the nicest human beings I had ever met. Each week and each year I had to work harder to stay ahead of her. Margaret  has now completed complicated roles like Shakespeare's "Juliet" and "Ophelia", Anderson's "Mary of Scotland", Shaw's "Joan" and her improv work is incredible. Margaret has just graduated from Vassar
in New York State. Margaret is a bright ray of sunshine to all
who have the pleasure of meeting her.
I call Meagan "A Diamond in the Rough".  When she first walked in to audition for my class she reminded me so much of a young Sissy Spacek, with that beautiful East Texas accent.  Like Sissy, Meagan brings a tremendous sense of realism to all the roles she performs. Ever since our 2001 Recital, Meagan seems to be inspired and has been making progress by leaps and bounds. She has won a
Best Actress Award in UIL District competition and early in 2003 she was invited to auditioned for Juilliard in New York City. Meagan is now 21 and is truly "A Diamond in the Rough" and her "Diamond" grows brighter every day.

Morgan Harrison
In Morgan's first recital with us, "Recital 2004", this tiny little girl burst
onstage and exploded into her performance of "Kick Ball Queen of the World " and "Grandmas are Cool" to the thrill of everyone in the audience. But behind this explosion is one of the sweetest young ladies you will ever meet.
